UPSEE 2017 exam dates announced, application process started
Central Admission Board, Uttar Pradesh has announced the UPSEE 2017 exam schedule for admissions into various undergraduate and post graduate courses for 2017 academic year. AKTU is to organize the exam and exam will be held on April 16th, 22nd and 23rd in different sessions.
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam is conducted for admissions into B.Tech., B.Pharma, B.Arch., BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, MBA, MCA and later entry into B.Tech, B.Pharma and MCA courses offered at universities, government colleges and self financing private institutes across the state. The UPSEE exam is conducted for 11 papers and candidates have to attend required papers for the course selected.
On 16th and 22nd April Paper 1 to 8 will be conducted in morning and afternoon sessions for under graduate courses. Papers from 9 to 11 will be conducted on 23rd April for post graduate courses. All the papers are objective type with multiple choice questions.
Online applications for UPSEE 2017 are being accepted from 18th January 2017 and last date for submitting application forms is 28th February 2017 till 5:00PM. All the candidates who are willing to appear in the exam have to register through UPSEE website only as no physical applications are available. Candidates have to provide their AADHAAR number while filling the application as it is made mandatory. Candidates have to fill separate application for UG and PG programmes. Online application process involves few steps.
Filling the application form
In this section candidates have to provide personal, educational and other details such as coursed desired, examination city choices and paper(s) to take as per the eligibility. The candidates will also have to choose a password and security question which shall be used for future logins. After all the details are provided, candidates can finally submit the application form to proceed further. Upon submitting application form, an application number will be generated which shall be used as user name for further logins.
Upload images
In this section the candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression. All the images shall be within the prescribed format and size.
Fee payment
The applicants have to pay the UPSEE 2017 examination fee through online only. The examination fee can be paid through credit card/ debit card/ net banking facilities. A transaction number will be generated upon successful payment and that should be noted for acknowledgement. After success full fee payment candidates can download the confirmation page which shall be preserved in 2 sets for future communication.
Examination fee is Rs.1200/- for general and OBC candidates, and Rs.600/- for female and SC/ST categories.
