University of Delhi (FMS) MBA Admissions 2017: Last Date for Applying is 30th November
Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admissions to full time MBA programmes offered at university campus. Interested candidates can apply through online from admission portal and DU FMS MBA 2017 application last date is 30th November, 2016.
Eligibility
Candidates shall posses a bachelor degree after 12 years of continuous education with 50% (45% OBC/PwD/CW, Pass marks for SC/ST) marks or equivalent CGPA at graduation level. Candidates who are into final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply. Candidates have to appear CAT 2016 as scores obtained in CAT exam are mandatory for admissions, failing which his/her candidature will not be considered.
Application and Fee
Desired candidates have to apply by registering online. All the personal and educational information have to provide in the online application and have to pay application fee through available payment gateways. Application fee is Rs.1000/- for general candidates and Rs 350/- for SC/ST/PwD.
After successful payment candidates have to upload the Photograph, Signature and Left Thumb impression in JPEG format to complete the process. Candidates after submission of application have to take a printed copy of the “Application Acknowledgement Form” and need to send the form along with all necessary document s to the “The Administrative Officer, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi–110007” on or before 16th December, 2016.
University will send the receipt of the “Application Acknowledgement Form” to the registered email-id.
Admission and Selection Procedure
Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi has rigorous selection procedure and selection will be based on Extempore Speech, Personal Interview and CAT 2016 score. Woman candidates will have 3% weightage on CAT 2016 score to justify gender diversity. Shortlisted candidates upon CAT 2016 scores will be called for Extempore Speech (ES) and Personal Interview (PI). Dates for ES & PI and other events will be announced after CAT 2016 results.
Final selection will be on composite score of all 3 sections and woman candidates will have additional 3% weightage who appeared for final interview.
Important Things to Note
- Online application will be available from 1st November to 30th November, 2016.
- Total number of seats 200.
- Change of category is not allowed after initial registration.
- Appearing CAT 2016 is mandatory.
- Candidates have to produce all certificates in original at the time of interview.
- For SC/ST candidates, caste certificate should be self attested.
