Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA 2016) Online Registration Has Started

TNEA 2016 is now a single window Counseling process for admission in to various Under Graduate programs in Tamilnadu Engineering colleges.  TNEA 2016 is going to be conducted by Anna University on the basis of merit, as written exam is scrapped out.  Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in qualifying exam on the scale of 200.

Online window is available on Anna university website for Registration. Last date for online registration is 10days from the date of HSC results announced by TN board. No corrections are entitled after the submission of application online. Counseling will be held on last week of May of first week of June.

Qualifying exam and Eligibility:

A pass in the HSC or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

 

For general candidates:	Minimum 50% marks from MPC
For Backword class:	Minimum 45% marks from MPC
For MBS & DNC:	Minimum 40% marks from MPC
For SC/SCA/ST:	Minimum 40% marks from MPC
