Rajasthan MBBS and BDS Admissions 2016, 1st September is Last Date to Apply
Rajasthan University of Health Sciences conducting e-counseling for admission into MBBS and BDS courses offered by colleges and deemed universities in the state of Rajasthan. Online registrations are started on 26th September and last date for applying to MBBS and BDS courses is 1st September 2016. Candidates who complete 17 years of age before 31st of December 2016 are only eligible for admissions.
Candidates who qualified in the NEET 2016 (previously AIPMT) with 50 percentile (40% for SC/ST) are eligible for applying to state quota (85% of total seats) seats in MBBS and BDS courses. Applying online comprises 2 parts, in part 1 candidate have to provide basic information to get the registration id. Using the registration id candidates have to pay the registration fee of sum Rs 2000/- (1200/- for SC/ST) at e-Mitra/CSC kiosk.
After paying the registration fee candidates have to login using registration id and password and have to validate the fee payment using 16 digit e-Mitra token number. In part 2 upon successful validation of fee payment candidates have to enter the all mandatory personal and educational details. In the next step candidates have to upload the photograph, signature, payment receipt, photo id and other relevant documents.
#Candidates who passed qualifying exam with biochemistry as main subject are not eligible for BDS course.
Admissions to the courses will be done based on the merit obtained in NEET and the choices filled-in by the applicants. Candidates are allowed to fill the choices based on their preferences and are advised to provide as many as choices to get allotted with a seat and avoid choice exhaust situation. RUHS is conducting 2 rounds of seat allotment and after every round candidate who got allotment letter has to report the college with in stipulated time.
First round of seat allotment will be announced on 5th September 2016 and classes will be starting from 13th September 2016. Admission will be concluded by the end of September.
Important thing to keep during registration
- scanned copy of recent photograph (max 40KB)
- Scanned copy of signature (max 40KB and 2”x1” size)
- Scanned copy of e-Mitra receipt
Candidates have to keep 2 copies of filled registration form for submitting at the time of reporting to the institution. Candidates have to affix photograph on the space provided and put the thumb impression and need to sign the declaration on the print out of registration form.
Note: Rest of the 15% seats will be filled by DGHS in All India quota.
