NID B.Des, GDPD And M.Des 2017 Admissions : Only 2 Days Left For Applications

National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad offers B.Des, GDPD and M.Des programmes in various campuses across India. Selection of candidates for 2017 admissions will be through merit obtained in Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) 2017 conducted by NID.

Applications are being accepted by NID from 25^th October, 2016 and closes in another 2 days i.e, by 02:00PM on 28^th November, 2016. However candidates can apply till 02:00PM on 2^nd December, 2016 by paying an amount(online only) equivalent to double the regular application fee which includes late payment fee.

Candidates have to register for NID DAT 2017 and fill the application form online and have to pay the application fee in online mode or in the form of Demand Draft. Online applications with online fee payment (without late fee) are accepted till 28^th November, 2016 only.

Candidates who opt to pay application fee by DD have to fill and submit the NID DAT online application by 28^th November, 2016 and submit the “Printed application along with DD” before 2^nd December, 2016 to “The Project Manager–CMS All India Management Association Management House, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi 110 003 India”. Candidates shall note that printed NID DAT 2017 application can be sent via speed post, registered post or courier only to reach before 02:00PM on 2^nd December.

For candidates successfully applied for NID B.Des, GDPD and M.Des 2017 admissions, Admit cards for DAT Prelims will be available from 20^th December, 2016 and DAT 2017 Prelims exam is to be held on 8^th January, 2017 from 10:00AM to 01:00PM.

Candidates qualified in DAT 2017 Prelims will have to take DAT 2017 Mains exam and selection of candidates for admissions will be based on the merit obtained in both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. Weightage for each exam will be decided by the senate of the institute, and final merit list will be announced in the month of May, 2017.
