NEET – MDS 2017 Application Process Underway, Exam Will be Held From 30th November to 3rd December 2016
National Board of Exams has announced NEET – MDS 2017 exam schedule and online applications are accepted from 26th September 2016. NBE has replaced AIPGDEE with NEET – MDS and made a single entrance exam for all the institutions offering MDS programs in India. Previously AIPGDEE is conducted to derive the merit for admissions in to 50% all India quota seats. Now NEET – MDS will be the gateway exam for admissions into 50% all India quota as well as state quota and institute quota seats in government/ private and deemed universities across India.
NEET –MDS 2017 is a ranking cum eligibility test conducted India wide at 41 test cities from 30th November to 3rd December 2016 in 2 sessions. Candidates willing to appear for the test have to register online on NBE website and have to pay a sum of Rs. 3750/- (Rs.2750/- for SC/ST/Pwd) against application fee. Candidates who completed BDS and have registration with DCI or who are going to complete internship before 31st March 2017 are eligible to appear NEET – MDS 2017 entrance exam.
For online registration process initially candidates have to create a profile to start with that. While creating profile it is mandatory to upload the photograph and digital copy of signature to complete the profile. After successfully creating profile one can fill the application form with information like personal details, category of seats eligible, domicile information, identification marks, DCI registration details, institution studied and internship details to complete the application form. Candidates have to upload the photo id and DCI registration certificate while filling the application, the same which are to be produced at the time of attending the test. Candidates will be able to schedule the test date and venue online after filling the necessary details and availability of date & venue is first cum first serve based.
After selection of date & venue system will navigate the candidates to fee payment window where one can pay the fee in online form only, through available payment gate ways. Last date for filling the application online and fee payment for NEET –MDS 2017 is 31st October 2016.
Note: Candidates are allowed to take the test only once during the test window from 30th November to 3rd December 2016.
