MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2017 online registration started from today

Application process for MAH MBA/MMS CET 2017 has begun from today and all the candidates have to register online through www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba2017 web portal.  DTE Maharashtra has already announced the MAH MBA/MMS CET 2017 entrance test dates which will be organized on 4^th and 5^th of March 2017.

Applications are accepted from the eligible candidates to attend CET for admissions to post graduate management courses (MBA/MMS) in government, university and private institutions in Maharashtra state. Online applications will be accepted till 13^th February 2017. CET will be conducted once in a year and exam is conducted in online mode in multiple sessions.

Check eligibilities for MBA/MMS CET 2017

All candidates shall meet the following requirements to get eligible for MAH MBA/MMS CET 2017 entrance test conducted by Directorate of Technical education Maharashtra.

• The candidate shall pass minimum three year bachelor degree from any recognized university.
• The candidate shall score minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam.
• The candidates who are into final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Application process

The candidate willing to appear for Maharashtra MBA/MMS common entrance test 2017 has to apply online only. DTE has enabled the online application from 21^st January and candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps to complete the application.

Registration

The applicants have to open the “apply online” link in DTE website for new registration. The candidates have to provide name, contact details and email id to complete the registration process.  Upon successful registration a provisional registration number and password will be generated.

The candidates have to login with registration number and password to proceed with and complete the MAH MBA/MMS CET 2017 application process.  The candidates have to fill all personal and educational details to complete the application form. The system will allow the candidates to validate the details entered, and after validation candidates can save the data.

Upload of photo & signature

In the next step candidates have to upload the soft copy of recent photograph and scanned signature of the applicant. The candidates while uploading the photo and signature, have to take care that both shall meet the prescribed format and size.

After uploading the photograph and signature candidates can proceed for final submission which leads to fee payment process. The candidates are advised check all the entered details before proceeding for final submission as after the final submission no corrections are allowed.

Application fee payment

In the next and final step candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode only. The applicants can pay the fee using following gateways i.e. debit cards / credit cards / internet Banking / IMPS / cash cards/ mobile wallet to complete the payment process.

Note:  Application fee for MAH MBA/MMS CET 2017 is Rs.1000/- for general category candidates and Rs.800/- reserved category candidates.

On successful completion of fee payment an e-receipt will be generated and applicants are required to take printout of the e-receipt and filled application form. Filling the online application and payment of application fee shall be done before 13^th February 2017. Printout of the application form can be taken till 28^th February 2017.

Important guidelines for online application

• Candidates shall note the provisional application number and password which is generated at the time of registration.
• Candidates can fill the application in multiple sessions by saving the entered data time to time.
• Ensure that all the data entered in the online application is correct.
• Name, parents name and other details shall be filled as it appears in the mark sheets.
• Proceed for final submission only upon rechecking the filled application thoroughly for correctness.
• Only generation of e-receipt will confirm the submission of application.
• Any failure of application fee payment e-receipt generation, candidates have to initiate the payment process again.
•  Uploaded photograph and signature shall meet the guidelines.
• No physical documents shall be presented to the DTE office at this stage.
