KEAM 2017 application form available now- Check for step by step process

The application forms for KEAM 2017 are being accepted form 1st February 2017 and are available now for submission. It is mandatory to apply for KEAM 2017 for admission to engineering, architecture and medical & allied courses in the state of Kerala.

For engineering courses KEAM 2017 entrance exam will be conducted on 24th and 25th of April and admission is made based on the merit obtained in the exam. For architecture courses admissions will be made based on the NATA 2017 scores and for medical and allied courses admissions will be made based on NEET UG 2017 scores. However all the candidates have to apply to KEAM 2017 in order to obtain candidature for admissions.

How to apply?

All the eligible candidates have to apply online only and perform few steps to complete application process. Follows is the step by step process to fill up the application form.

1 Registration

In this step a candidate has to register with the application portal of KEAM 2017 providing name, date of birth, email-id and desired password for future logins. Upon successful registration the candidate will receive an application number on the screen which has to be noted down and used along with password to login and proceed for filling the application form.

2 Upload Images

Before filling the application a candidate has to upload scanned images of recent photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression in prescribe format and sizes.

3 Fill Application

Upon successful image uploads the candidate will be taken to the KEAM 2017 application form which has to be filled with courses opted, choice test centre (for engineering courses), proper personal and academic details. After filling the application form the candidate can preview and save the application form. To proceed for final submission the candidate has to check the declarations and click on ‘Final submission’ button. The candidates before final submission have to verify the filled information for accuracy, and can utilise ‘Edit’ button for any changes if required to be made.

4 Pay Application Fee

Upon final submission of application form the candidate will be taken to Application fee payment section where the candidate can opt for mode of payment. The application fee can be paid in the following modes.

Online mode

Candidates can use this mode to pay application fee through online gateways using credit card / debit card / net banking facilities.

E-Challan mode

In this mode the candidates can pay the application fee in form of cash using the E-challan generated in any of the selected SBT branches.

Application fee is Rs.800/- for general candidates, Rs.400/- for SC candidates and NIL for ST candidates. The candidates who choose Dubai have to pay an additional amount of Rs.12000/- against fee. Upon payment is updated successfully with the KEAM 2017 portal the Payment Tab turns into green.

The last date for submitting online application and make application fee payment is 27th February 2017.

5 Print Application

Once the ‘Payment Tab’ turns into green the candidate can take the print out of the submitted application form for sending it to the CEE Kerala office. The printout has to be duly signed and affixed with the photograph same as uploaded one. Now the printout of the application form has to be duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate has studied 10+2 or by a government gazetted officer. It is advised to have a copy of the application for reference.

6 Send Application and Supporting Proof to CEE

The application process of KEAM 2017 completes after sending it to the CEE Kerala office to reach before 28th February 2017. Candidates have to send the printout to “The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, 5th Floor, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695001, Kerala”.
