KEAM 2016 Option Entry opened for Engineering and Architecture Admissions

CEE Kerala initiated Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) to fill the seats for under graduate engineering and Architecture courses offered in professional institutes across Kerala state.  Candidates who are included in the ranks list are allowed to register for first phase of allotment. Online option registration will be available from 23^rd June (7:00PM) to 28^th June (5:00PM).

Allotment of seat will be strictly on the basis of merit. CEE Kerala through CAP will fill the government quota seats in government and self financed institutions only. Admissions to management quota will be done at institute level, except 35% of management quota in self-financing institutes under government control and under Kerala and Calicut Universities, 40% management quota seats in the Self-financing Engineering College under Mahatma Gandhi University and 25% of the seats under management quota of Sree Chithira Thirunal College of Engineering, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram. Allotment will be done through CEE Kerala to these management quota seats on the basis of merit.

Candidates have to register online for option entry and for benefit of the candidates, option facilitation centers and help desks are functioning throughout the Kerala till the process completes. Cutoff rank list for 2015 is available on CEE Kerala website and candidates can go through the list to exercise better options. A trail allotment will be published on 26^th June, candidates can utilize trail allotment to refine the options to enhance the scope of better seat allocation.

First allotment will be done on 30^th June and candidates who got seat allotment shall remit the prescribed fee on selected SBT counters between 1^st July and 5^th July 2016. Further allotment phase will be announced later and candidates need not join the college after first allotment. Option registration and seat allotment for Medical and allied courses will be announce later.
