JoSAA 2016 Seat Allotment: Second Round Allotment Results Published

JoSAA 2016 second round seat allotment is announced and candidates can accept seat till 9^th July 5:00PM.  JOSAA also increased the number of rounds to 6 from 4 as said earlier and new schedule of events has been published on JoSAA website.  JOSAA is sole responsible to complete admissions in to IITs, ISM, NITs and other GFTIs for under graduate programs in engineering and science.

Admission process for academic year 2016 will last up to 20^th July 2016. Candidates who wish to accept the seat must report at the respective reporting center before 9^th July 5:00PM.  Candidates can check their allotment status by logging in to JoSAA portal providing JEE Main Roll number and Password. Candidates who got dual seat allotment have to report at the both centers to accept the seat.

Candidates who wish to change their option from Float to Slide or Freeze need to fill-in the prescribed form and submit at respective center to participate in the further rounds.

Candidates who want to with draw from the allotment process can put an online request for seat with drawl and have to update the bank details for the refund of seat acceptance fee (if paid in the previous round).

The list of vacant seats after 2^nd round of allotment and Third round of seat allocation will be announced on 10^th July.

Academic sessions for all the courses offered in IITs and ISM including preparatory courses for the session 2016-17 will start from 22^nd July onwards.
