JELET 2016 Counseling to Start From 29th August 2016
WBJEEB announced the counseling schedule for admissions through JELET 2016 which was held on 24th July 2016. Counseling for JELET 2016 will be held from 29th August to 2nd September 2016. JELET is conducted by WBJEEB to fill the lateral entry seats (entry into 2nd year) in under graduate engineering/technology and pharmacy seats in colleges across West Bengal state.
Counseling venue for JELET 2016 is Gitanjali Stadium, Rajdanga, Kasba (Near E.M.Bypass), Kolkata - 700 107 and candidates are advised to appear half an hour before the scheduled slot. Rank and category wise slots are published on board website and candidates can refer for their slot timings.
Candidates can download the counseling form and e-challan from board website, and duly filled form should be submitted at the time of JELET 2016 counseling. Counseling fee of Rs 510/- shall be remitted at any branch of Allahabad bank and need to submit the board copy during the counseling schedule.
Candidates who are merit listed in JELET 2016 are eligible for JELET counseling 2016 and candidates have to pass the relevant Diploma / B.Sc. with an aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved category). Candidates seeking admission through B.Sc. stream should not cross the age of 27 years by 31st December 2016.
Note: candidates from B.Sc. stream are not eligible for admission into B.Pharm course.
Candidates have to personally appear during counseling and are allowed to exercise only one branch/institution during counseling. Seat allotted candidates have to report the concerned institute within 5 days from the allotment date. Candidates who cannot appear personally can authorize a person on behalf to attend the counseling with an authorization letter which can be downloaded from board website.

- Counseling form duly signed
- Print out of JELET 2016 Rank card
- Board copy of e-challan
- JELET 2016 admit card
- Semester wise marks sheets for diploma holders
- B.Sc. marks sheets
- 10+2 marks sheet
- Domicile certificate
- Other documents like catse, PwD, etc..
