JAM 2017 Online Application – Last Date Extended to 13th October
Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. 2017 – IIT Delhi, the organizing institute has extended the last date for online application for JAM 2017 to 13th October, 2016. Last date for payment of application fee through online process also has been changed to 13th October.
JAM is conducted every year by the consortium of IITs to short list merit candidates for admissions to M.Sc. and joint M.Sc. & Ph.D programs offered by IITs and IISc. For the academic year 2017, JAM is scheduled to be conducted on 12th February, 2017.
Online applications for JAM 2017 were being accepted from 2nd September, 2016 and last date for submitting was 6th October earlier. Now candidates who couldn’t apply earlier have got another opportunity to apply for JAM 2017 till 13th of this month.
Candidates can apply for JAM 2017 through Joint Online Application Process System (JOAPS) hosted at https://joaps.iitd.ac.in/. Candidate in first step has to register to JOAPS providing Name, E-mail, Mobile number and desired password. A JAM enrolment ID will be sent to the registered mail and mobile number up on successful registration.
Once a JAM enrolment id is obtained, candidates can continue to login to JOAPS using the id and password set during registration. After logging in candidate can fill the application by providing requisite information and document uploads. Clicking on the “Final Submit” will conclude the final submission of online application and will take to fee payment section.
Application fee for JAM 2017 has to be paid online only through available gateways using Credit/Debit cards or Netbanking. Application fee is Rs.1500/- for 1 test paper and Rs.2100/- for 2 test papers for general candidates and for female and SC/ST/PwD candidates application fees is Rs.750/- per 1 test paper and Rs.1050/- for 2 test papers.
Admit cards can be downloaded from 10th January, 2017 and results for JAM 2017 will be announced on 27th March, 2017. Admission process will start in first week of April and will continue till first week of July.
