JAM 2017: Minor Modifications in Applications Allowed Till 28th October 2016

IIT Delhi has issued a notification to the candidates who applied for JAM 2017, which states that candidates are now allowed to correct/ modify the information provided during application process. Candidates who want to correct/modify the information shall have to send an email to chrjam@admin.iitd.ac.in from the JAM registered email id. IIT Delhi is allowing modifications in JAM 2017 that are related to Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Name of parent, Category, Gender and Examination city.  “Correction in data” with enrollment number as subject in the email should be forwarded by the candidates with corrections required in the email body.

During JAM 2017 application process candidates could select 3 test cities from available list, and now  candidates who wish to modify the examination city have to send a request to the “Organizing Chairman JAM IIT Delhi” along with a DD of Rs 500/- to request for change in examination city. At exceptional conditions only change of examination city will be permitted, if a request with a valid reason is received from the candidates.

Candidates who did wrong entries about category or gender will be allowed to change the category or gender by paying additional fee as prescribed below. The additional fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of “Chairman JAM IIT Delhi” on any nationalized bank payable at Delhi.

JAM 2017admit cards will be made available from 10^th January 2017 for download and candidates have to carry the printout of admit card along with valid photo id to the test center.  Candidates found any discrepancy in the admit cards shall inform the organizing chairman JAM 2017 IIT Delhi immediately for rectification.
