IIT UCEED 2017 for B.Des. Admissions: Tomorrow is Last Day for Applying With Late Fee
Tomorrow is the last day to apply for UCEED 2017 to be conducted by IIT Bombay for B.Des admissions, with a late fee. B.Des programmes are offered in IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur, and the admissions to these programmes are done through merit obtained in UCEED exam.
Candidates aspiring to take UCEED 2017 have still got an opportunity to fill online applications till tomorrow with a late fee of Rs.500/-. Application window without late fee is already closed on 11th November, 2016 and those who have missed can utilize this opportunity.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2016 from any recognized board can apply for UCEED 2017 exam. Candidates who will be taking final exam of class 12 in 2017 also can apply for the exam. Applicants must be born on or after October 1, 1997 to take the exam, 5 years relaxation has been given to SC/SC/PwD candidates.
Online application process starts with registration which is mandatory to fill and submit application. During filling application candidates will have to upload the soft copy of recent colour photograph, scanned signature and qualifying exam certificate in JPEG format. Candidates can pay the application fee Rs.2000/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST/PwD/Female) along with late fee in online mode only.
The exam UCEED 2017 is to be conducted on the date 22nd January, 2017 and admission process for B.Des. programmes begins in second week of June, 2017. Classes for the academic year 2017-18 will begin in the third week of July, 2017.
