IIT JEE Advanced 2017 Exam Date Announced

IIT Madras is the organizing institute of JEE Advanced 2017, Exam and Application dates are announced by the institute. Exam is to be held on 21^st May, 2017 in 2 sessions, Paper 1 from 09:00 AM to 12:00PM and Paper 2 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM in Indian standard time.

IIT JEE (Advanced) is a national level exam conducted to determine merit of eligible candidates for admissions to various Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Bachelor-Master Dual Degree programs in Engineering, Sciences, Architecture and Pharmaceutics disciplines offered in 23 IITs. Various other centrally funded institutes that includes IISc Bangalore, IISERs, IIST Thiruvananthapuram, RGIPT Rae Bareli and IIPE Vishakapatnam also uses JEE Advanced ranks for admissions.

The 2,20,000 top scorers including all categories from the candidates who appear for Paper-1 of JEE Main 2017 will be qualified for JEE Advanced 2017. The result for JEE Main 2017 will be announced on 27^th April, 2017 and who ever have qualified for JEE Advanced can start applying from 28^th April, 2017.

Registrations for JEE Advanced 2017 will begin from 10:00AM onwards on 28^th April, 2017 and last date for completion of registration will be 2^nd May, 2017 before 5:00PM. However candidates can apply with a late fee on 3^rd and 4^th May, 2017.

Admit Cards for JEE Advanced 2017 will be made available for download on www.jeeadv.ac.in from 10:00AM IST on 10^th May, 2017 till 9:00AM IST on 21^st May, 2017. Results and rank list for the exam will be declared at 10:00AM IST on 11^th June, 2017.

Admissions will be handled by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) and schedule for joint seat allocation will be announced separately after announcing JEE Advanced 2017 results.
