IIT Bombay CEED 2017 Online Application Form Accepted From 17th October
IIT Bombay has started accepting CEED 2017 online application forms from today 17th October, 2017. CEED in full form Common Entrance Exam for Design is conducted for admissions to M.Des. and Ph.D. Design programs offered at various IITs and IISc Bangalore. CEED 2017 is to be conducted on 22nd January, 2017 from 10:00AM to 13:00PM hours in single session.
Candidates how have passed any degree/diploma of minimum 4years studied after 10+2 are eligible to take CEED 2017. All the candidates who completed the qualifying exam or appearing in final exam in 2017 can apply for CEED 2017. Candidates with B.Arch., B.Plan., B.E/B.Tech, B.F.A studied after 10+2, GD Arts (10+5) and Masters degree in Arts/Science/Computer applications studied after 10+2+3 are eligible to take CEED 2017.
Candidates interested in appearing CEED 2017 have to apply online only through official CEED website http://ceed.iitb.ac.in. To fill the online application form a candidate first has to register with user registration portal using email ID. A mail with an activation link will be sent to the registered candidate’s email, which has to be opened to complete the registration using personal information like name, DOB, address and desired password.
Upon successful registration candidate can login to the CEED portal to complete online application submission. During filling application in first step candidate will be asked to provide qualifying degree, year of passing, board & college of passing and CEED 2017 exam city choices. In next step candidates have to upload scanned copies of documents like recent photograph, signature, certificate of qualifying exam and reservation category certificate.
Candidate in next has to complete CEED 2017 application submission by making the payment of application fee, which can be done online only using available payment gateways. Application fee is Rs.2100/- for open category candidates and Rs.1100/- for Women/SC/ST/PwD candidates. Last date to complete application submission with regular fee is 11th November, 2016. However applications are accepted with a late fee of Rs.500/- in addition to regular fee till 18th November, 2016.
CEED 2017 is to be conducted in 19 major cities across India, and it is compulsory for applicant to choose 3 out of them. Admit cards will be made available for download from 26th December, 2016 to 21st January, 2017 on the exam portal, which has to be printed out in colour and carried to the exam centre.
