IGNOU Announces MBA (Banking & Finance) Admissions 2017 January Session
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, in a notification has announced admissions to Distance MBA in Banking and Finance programme for 2017 January session. The programme is developed and offered in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai and is specifically designed for banking sector employees. Duration of the programme is 2 and half years and shall complete within 8 years.
The university in the admission notification has invited applications from eligible candidates interested to apply for its MBA (Banking & Finance) programme. Last date for submitting filled-in application is 31st December, 2016.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates possessing a graduate degree of minimum 3 years shall be eligible to apply for MBA in Banking and Finance programme.
- Candidates shall have passed CAIIB exam of The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, and awarded requisite qualification/credentials thereof by the Institute.
- Minimum two years of working experience in the banking and financial services sector.
How to Apply
Candidates can obtain ‘Student Handbook & Prospectus of MBA(Banking & Finance) - 2016-17’ from the IGNOU Student Service Center, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi or any IGNOU regional centre by paying Rs.1000/-.
The prospectus can also be obtained through post by sending a DD of Rs.1050/- in favor of “IGNOU” to the above mentioned centres. The DD shall be payable at the same city from where the prospectus has been requested. The request for prospectus by post must reach before 10th December, 2016.
The prospectus for MBA Banking and Finance can also be downloaded from the Student Zone on the IGNOU website, and shall attach a DD of Rs.1000/- in favor of “IGNOU” while submitting the application.
