GPAT 2017: Exam Dates Out, Registration Starts From 10th October 2016

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, GPAT 2017 is scheduled to be held on 28^th & 29^th of January 2017. AICTE has announced the GPAT 2017 important dates, online registration will start from 10^th October 2016 and last date to apply for exam is 10^th December 2016. GPAT 2017 is a national level entrance exam and from this year onwards GPAT will be held in 2 days. GPAT will be conducted at 58 test cities across India and exam is computer based test (CBT) conducted online.

Aspirants who are citizens of India and who completed B.Pharma from any recognized university are eligible to apply for GPAT. Candidates who studied B.Pharma in lateral entry mode after completing Diploma in Pharmacy are also eligible to take GPAT 2017. Candidates who are into final year of qualifying exam and whose results are expecting to be announced before start of academic year 2017 can also apply for GPAT 2017.

This year AICTE is conducting exam in 2 days and in single session each day. Exam will be held for duration of 3 hours and no major changes in the exam pattern are observed. GPAT 2017 Exam results are expected to be announced on 15^th of February 2017 and candidates can download the score cards from the same date.

AICTE will announce GPAT 2017 all India merit list, and these scores will facilitate the institutions to admit students into M.pharma.  courses, for academic year 2017. Candidates who secured seats into M.pharma through GPAT are eligible for scholar ships provided by AICTE and MHRD. Although GPAT scores are valid for the current academic year for admission into M.pharma courses, Candidates willing to join Ph.D. after post graduation can use same GPAT scores and need not attend any separate entrance exam.

Candidates who are new to CBT pattern can avail the “Trial test” facility to get familiar with the exam & system navigation, the trail test window for GPAT 2017 will be available from 15^th December 2016 on AICTE website.
