GATE 2017 Minor Modifications in Applications Allowed Till 27th October

IIT Roorkee is administering Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) exam for 2017 and application window for GATE 2017 is already closed. Now minor modifications in the filled application are allowed from 17^th October to 27^th October, 2016 and candidates are permitted to modify information related to fields mentioned below.

• Name of candidate (only minor spelling with document proof)
• Date of Birth (minor change in date/ month/ year with document proof)
• Name of Parent/Guardian (only minor spelling with document proof)
• Status from Gen to OBC and OBC to General (with document proof)
• Have you graduated in the above degree? (changes in Yes/No with Document proof)
• Year of Qualifying Degree (minor change in year with document proof)

Candidates have to send an email to gateiitr.2017@gmail.com for minor modifications providing the document proof as attachment. Candidates have to mention in the subject as “correction in data (included candidate enrollment number here)” and have to mention the “field” of corrections in the email. Corrections to GATE 2017 application will be entertained only if valid proof of document is present and after the last date no corrections are allowed.

Applicants whose GATE 2017 application status shown under scrutiny need not worry as candidates will be contacted by email & SMS for rectification of photo, signature and other documents.  Request for change of test center will be allowed till 16^th November 2016 and GATE 2017 Admit Cards will be available for download from 5^th January 2017 till exam date.
