BITSAT 2017 application form available now, check out the exam dates

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has released exam dates for BITSAT 2017 and made application form available for the same. The exam is scheduled to be organized from 16^th May to 30^th May 2017 and last date for submitting application form is 6^th March 2017 by 5:00PM.

BITS has campuses at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad, and admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes offered at these campuses will be made through BITSAT 2017 test. The test is held in computer based online mode and the duration of exam is 3 hours.

The admissions to all the courses will be purely based on the merit obtained in BATSAT 2017, and merit of candidate will be derived from the score obtained in the exam.

Eligibility requirements

For all first degree programs except B.Pharm:

• The candidate should have passed class 12^th exam studied in 10+2 system from any recognized central board / state board or any recognized equivalent board.
• The candidate should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 with fluency in English.
• The candidate should have obtained aggregate of 75% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and atleast 60% marks in each of these subjects.

For B.Pharm programmes:

• The candidate should have passed class 12^th exam studied in 10+2 system from any recognized central board / state board or any recognized equivalent board.
• The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in 10+2 with fluency in English.
• The candidate should have obtained aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and atleast 60% marks in each of these subjects.

The candidates who have passed the qualifying exam in 2016 or appearing final exam in 2017 are only eligible for applying to BITSAT 2017. The First rank holders of all central and state boards are eligible for direct admissions without taking the BITSAT online test 2017.

How to apply?

The candidates willing to appear in BITSAT 2017 can visit (http://www.bitsadmission.com/bitsatmain.aspx) and have to apply online only. The application fee for the exam is Rs.2750/- for male candidates and Rs.2250/- for female candidates. For the candidates who opt for DUBAI test centre, the test fee is US Dollar 60.
