Apply to Assam MEE 2016 before 17th June for Admission to MBBS and BDS
The Assam Medical Entrance Exam (MEE) 2016 shall be conducted by Dibrugarh University for admission to first year of MBBS and BDS courses offered by colleges in the state of Assam. Every year Assam Common Entrance Exam is conducted for medical and engineering admissions, which this year was conducted on 14th and 15th of May, but the exam for MBBS and BDS was not conducted on those dates in consideration of ‘Conducting NEET’ as directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Now in accordance to the NEET Ordinance made by Govt. Of India and as per the authorization by the Govt. Of Assam the MEE 2016 is being conducted on 16th and 17th July, 2016. The entrance exam is conducted in 3 sessions for subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 1 session for each paper.

Exam will be conducted in Silchar, Bongaigaon, Nalbari, Lakhimpur, Guwahati, Tezpur, Nagaon, Jorhat and Dibrugarh cities/towns of Assam.
Application process has been already started on 3rd June, 2016 and the last date for submission of application is 17th June, 2016. Candidates have to apply online using the prescribed application form that is available at the official website, which has to be filled and submitted online only. Application fee is Rs.1240/- which has to be deposit along with bank charges of Rs.60/- at any SBI branch using challan generated after submission of online application. The last date for receipt of exam fee at SBI is 21st June, 2016.
Admit card for attending Assam MEE 2016 will be available on ceemedu.org from 8th July onwards which can be downloaded using application number obtained while submitting online application. A copy of admit card is to be printed out and carried to examination hall in order to be permitted to take the exam. The admit card is to be retained till the admission process completes.
There are no changes in eligibility criteria, syllabus and exam pattern and remains same as described for Assam CEE 2016.
