Apply for RTU Centralized Admission for M.Tech/M.Arch – CAM 2016 is Under Progress

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota is inviting applications for postgraduate programs in engineering and architecture courses in government and self financed private institutions across Rajasthan except private and deemed universities within the state.  RTU conducts a centralized Admission for M.Tech.  (RTU CAM) which is online mode to fill the seats. Ambitious candidates have to fill the online application, course and institution choices to get admission. This year CAM 2016 is conducting a 4 round allotment process and allotment will be done on Valid gate score  and only vacant seats will be filled by non- GATE candidates on the basis of academic performance.  admission process has already started from 23^rd May 2016 and will be ended on 15^th August 2016 and no vacant (after 4 rounds of seat allotment) seats will be filled by the individual institution as per supreme court order.

Online Application Process

RTU initiated online application process from 23^rd May 2016 and will be available up to 21^st May for admissions to academic year 2016-17. Candidates shall carryout online registration on official website providing necessary details. Upon successful registration candidates have to pay the required fee from either E-Mitra or from Biildesk. After payment is done candidates are allowed to fill the choices for seat allotment as the allotment process strictly depends on Merit cum choices filled by the candidates. Choices can be filled by candidates from 26^th May 2016 and will be available online till 23^rd June 2016. Candidates have to lock the choices or will be locked automatically on the last date and last saved will be considered for seat allotment.

Admission Process and Seat Allotment

CAM 2016 admission process and seat allotment is computerized, allotment is done purely based on merit cum choices chosen by the candidates. All candidates are advised to fill the maximum choices to get seat allotment and whose choices are exhausted will be given a chance in next round of counseling. Candidates who got allotment and not reported to the respective institution within the stipulated time will be barred from the entire admission process. A withdrawal option is available for candidates who wish to surrender the seat to Counsel of admissions.

Fee for CAM 2016 Application for General category is Rs 3000/- (Rs 1500/- for SC/ST)

Eligibility for CAM 2016

• Candidates should be citizen of India and domicile of Rajasthan
• Candidates shall pass B.E/B.TECH in relevant branch or equivalent  from any recognized university/ intuition with an aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ST) marks.
• Candidates seeking admission to Architecture courses shall pass B.Arch from any recognized university / institution with an aggregate of 50% (45% in case of Sc/St) marks.
• A valid GATE score is required.
• Candidates whose qualification is M.Sc./M.C.A shall posses a valid GATE score in the relevant branch.
• Candidates who appeared qualifying exam in 2016 and whose results are waited can also apply.
