AIST 2016 : FDDI Announces Admission to U.G. and P.G. Programs 2016-17, Registration Started

Footwear Design and Development Institute initiated application process for U.G. and P.G. programs offered at 12 campuses spread across India. FDDI conducts All India Selection Test (AIST 2016) to determine the merit of the candidates to admit into 3 U.G. and 3 P.G. courses in Leather and footwear.

Application process has been started from 7^th July and Candidates willing to apply to FDDI have to register online and need to pay a sum of Rs 500/- against application fee. Candidates can apply for more than one program with single registration and candidates who are applying for both UG and PG have to do separate registrations. Last date for accepting applications is 27^th July 2016.

Candidates who appeared major exams conducted at all India level are exempted from appearing AIST 2016 and their scores in those exams will be normalized with AIST 2016 scores to prepare merit list. Candidates who claim exemption from written test have to upload the score card/hall ticket of the exam while applying online.

Exam will be held in major cities across India in 3 different dates i.e., 11^th, 12^th and 13^th August 2016. AIST 2016 will be computer based test with multiple choice questions conducted for 150 marks. Candidates have to answer 150 questions in 2 ½ hours and every correct answer will fetch 1 mark and no negative marking for wrong answers.

Admit cards will be available from last week of July and candidates can download the admit cards from FDDI website.  An all India merit list will be published on 8^th August and admission process will began from 12^th August 2016.
