TS EAMCET 2017 : Exam Dates, Application Form, Syllabus, Result
TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) 2017 is to be organized on 12th May, 2017 by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. TS EAMCET 2017 is held for on behalf of Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for making admissions to engineering, medical and agricultural UG programmes offered by government and private colleges across the state of Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria for TS EAMCET 2017
The candidates required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria required for admission through TS EAMCET 2017 exam:
The candidates should be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) also may apply.
The candidate should be the domicile of the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and must need to fulfill local and non-local status requirements as per the norms.
The Engineering/Technology/Agricultural/Pharmacy aspirants should have passed (or about to appear final exam in 2017) in class 12th exam with Physics, Mathematics and one optional subject from Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry as required or they should have completed related vocational programmes organized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana in the field of Engineering/Technology.

The candidates should have passed (or about to appear final exam in 2017) diploma degree in engineering or its equivalent from the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
The candidates those belonging to open category are required to obtain minimum 45% marks whereas, reserved category applicants need to secure 40% marks and the same shall be made available to submit at the time of admission.
The candidates should have attained minimum 16 years old by the time of admission. No upper age limit is specified by the TS EAMCET 2017 conducting authority.
The candidates those are looking for admission to B. Tech (Ag. Engineering), B. Tech (Dairy Technology) and B. Tech (FST) they should be minimum 17 years old by the exam time. Upper age limit for candidates belonging to this category should be minimum 22 years (25 years for SC/ST category candidates).
TS EAMCET 2017 Exam Pattern
Duration of the test is three hours.
The test is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
Four options with single correct answer will be provided for every question among which candidates need to mark the right answer.
Candidates shall mark the correct answer in the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet by shading in Dark the appropriate circle with Blue / Black Ball Point Pen.
Each question will carry one mark. No negative marking will be given for wrong answers.
There will be 160 question involved in the question paper (80 from Mathematics, 40 from Physics and rest 40 from Chemistry).
Question paper will be available in English as well as Telugu language.
TS EAMCET Syllabus
TS EAMCET 2017 syllabus will be as prescribed by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana. The questions for TS EAMCET paper will be composed from four subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology & Botany). The candidates for engineering admissions shall take papers (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and for agriculture admissions shall take papers (Biology, Physics, Chemistry).
Application Form
Application form for TS EAMCET 2017 will be available in online mode through the official website only. The form will be available in between February, 2017 to April, 2017 during which the candidates shall fill and submit the application form online.
After filling up the form, candidates will have to move to the application fee payment procedure before final submission. Application fee can be paid by using debit card/credit card/bank challan. Application fee specified for engineering aspirants is Rs. 250/- and Rs.250/- for medical and agriculture programmes. The candidates having desire to appear for all exams have to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee.
The candidates may also do the payment of application fee through Mee Seva centres/ AP Online Centers/ e-seva centers across Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
Hall Ticket/Admit Card
The hall tickets will be made available online for download on the official website on the date specified. The candidates have to login to the TS EAMCET 2017 website and shall download the same from their dashboard. No hard copy of the hall ticket shall be sent to the candidate by email or post. The candidate shall take a printout of the hall ticket and has to carry to the test centre on the date of exam.
Result
TS EAMCET 2017 result will be announced in the fourth week of May and will be published on the official website. Candidates can check their result by logging in to the website or by using hall ticket. A merit list will be prepared based on the performance by the candidates in the TS EAMCET 2017 and will be called for admissions through counselling.
