Tripura Joint Entrance Exam - TJEE 2016

TJEE is an entrance exam conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Extrance Examination for admission in to engineering, medical, technological and various other degree courses. The merit obtained in TJEE is used for filling the seats reserved for the State of Tripura across other states and also the seats in various institutions of the State. TJEE 2016 will be held on 26th and 27th April 2016 and last date for applying is 25th January 2016.

TJEE 2016 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

TJEE 2016 is OMR based exam with 4 papers i.e., Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology each for 100 marks. The syllabus for each paper will be divided into 10 modules and each paper will consist 5 questions from each module. Two marks will be awarded for each correct answer and no negative marks for wrong answers. Duration of each paper is 2 hours.

Candidates who seeks admission in Engineering or Technological degree courses (Group - A) shall take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics papers and those who seeks admission in Medical/ Agricultural/ Veterinary/ Fishary or such courses (Group - B) shall take Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers. And those seeking to take chance in either of the above groups shall appear in all 4 papers (Group - C).

Eligibility

Student who want to take TJEE 2016 shall be an Indian national and be the permanent resident of the State of Tripura i.e., the applicant or her/his parents should be residing in Tripura for 10 years while applying. The applicant also should have studied for at least 5 years immedeately prior to application. The candidate should have passed or appeared/due to appear 10+2 exam in the year of examination from Tripura Board of Secondary Education/CBSE or equallent with subjects which he/she wants to appear.
