Kerala LLM 2016 Entrance Exam Application Form, Exam Dates, Exam Pattern
The law colleges across Kerala admit candidates into LLM courses through Kerala LLM 2016 entrance exam conducted by CEE Kerala. Board conducts the exam once in an academic year and all the aspirants have to appear the exam to get eligible for admissions into post graduate law (LLM) courses. Master of Laws is a 2 year full time programme and all the available seats are offered to Indian citizens of Kerala origin.
There are 4 government and 5 private law colleges offering LLM in Kerala with various specializations and admissions to these courses will be through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by CEE Kerala.
Kerala LLM 2016 Schedule
The notification for Kerala LLM 2016 entrance exam has been released and exam is scheduled to be organized on 12th February 2017 for both paper 1 and paper 2. Applications are accepted from 11th January 2017 and last date to apply online is 24th January 2017. The candidates have to send the printout of the application form along with necessary documents to the CEE office before 5:00PM on 25th January 2017

Age Limit
Unlike LLB courses there in no upper age limit for LLM admissions in Kerala state.
Citizenship and domicile
Kerala LLM 2016 is open for all Indian citizens of Kerala orgin.
Academic Eligibility
- Candidates shall pass LLB (3year/ 5 year) with 50% marks from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates appearing/appeared final year of LLB courses in the admission year also eligible to apply subjected to admission guidelines.
Kerala LLM 2016 Exam Pattern
Kerala LLM entrance exam is pen and paper model and pattern is MCQ type. Exam will have 2 papers and conducted for 90 minutes duration each. Both the papers will have 100 MCQ questions each and shall be of LLB standard. All the questions will have 4 options with single correct answer and candidates have to bubble the correct answer on OMR sheets. Every correct answer will fetch 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

LLM 2016 entrance exam application form
The candidates willing to appear in Kerala LLM 2016 entrance exam have to apply online through CEE Kerala website. The application process for 2016 academic year will start from 11th January 2017 and candidates have to apply though candidate portal.
The candidates have to initially register, by providing necessary details and an application number will be generated upon successful registration. The candidates have to login using application number and password set at the time of registration to fill the application form.
Before filling the application form it is mandatory to upload studio generated photograph. Duly filled application form has to be submitted online and pay application fee to complete the application process. The application fee for LLM 2016 entrance exam has to be paid online or can be remitted at any branch of State Bank of Travancore using e-challan.
The candidates have to affix a recent passport size photograph on the printed application (similar to the uploaded) and need to get attested by a government gazzeted officer before sending to CEE Kerala office. The printout of application form and copies of necessary documents along with the original challan receipt (if not paid through online mode) have to be sent to “The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, 5th Floor, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 001” on or before 25th January 2017.
LLM 2016 application fee
Application fee for LLM 2016 entrance exam is Rs 800/- (Rs 400/- for SC/ST) and has to be paid through online payment gateway or through e-challan generated during online application process.
LLM 2016 Admit Cards
Aspirants can download the admit cards from CEE Kerala LLM 2016 candidate portal from 28th February 2017 onwards. CEE Kerala will provide a unique key number to the candidates, and applicants shall download the admit card using key number, roll number and application number. The candidates have to present the printout of the admit card with a valid Id for verification while attending the test. Exam will be held at Thiruvananthapuram test center only. The candidates are advised to preserve the LLM 2016 admit card till the admission process concludes.
Kerala LLM 2016 Exam Results
CEE board will publish provisional answer key after LLM 2016 exam is conducted and accepts the representation from the candidates about the questions and answer Key. Considering all the representations board will generate final answer key and results will be declared and published on website based on final answer key. The results of LLM 2016 are expected in the month of February 2017 and candidates can download the LLM 2016 ranks cards from candidate portal once the results are announced.
Kerala LLM 2016 Admissions
LLM 2016 admissions will be made through centralized allotment process (CAP) organized by CEE Kerala. CAP schedule for LLM 2016 will be announced in first week of March 2017 (tentative) and candidates have to register online options to participate in the admission process.
The admissions will be made purely based on merit in the entrance test and options selected by the candidates. The board will usually conduct 2 rounds of seat allotment and the candidates have to secure the seat as per the schedule.
