Duration and Exam Pattern
The duration of AIPMT Test will be 3 hours and will consist one paper with 180 objective type questions of 4 options (with single correct answer), from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The exam is pen and paper based offline exam.
Eligibility
The candidate seeking to take test should be an Indian national and achieved the age of 17 years at the time of admission. Upper limit of the age for the candidates seeking admission in 15% All India Quota is 25 years.
The candidate should have been passed 10+2 exam after 12 years of education, having Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology in last 2 years and also have passed English in the qualifying exam, should have been secured an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology together. For SC/ST/OBC candidates the aggregate of marks is 40% instead of 50% for general category. For physically handicapped candidates the aggregate of marks shall be 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories.

(ii) Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Test.
(iii) Candidates with less number of attempted wrong answers in all the subjects in the Test.
(iv) Candidates older in age to be preferred.
